Tipi Summer Retreats

Come and stay in a Tipi at The Retreat Farm, a small Retreat and Holistic Centre nestled alongside the river in rural Essex. Visitors stay in self contained Native American Tipis; situated in a flower meadow, a stones throw from the river. The Tipis are decorated with  rugs, wall hangings and handmade candle holders. You also have mattresses, pots and pans, a gas stove and drinking water.

You have your own fire outside your door and a large fire in the centre of the retreat for evening drumming and fireside parties.

The area boasts excellent walking, horse riding, canoeing and cycling facilities, while the farm has flower meadows, cornfields and bluebell woods for you to get lost in!

Guests may choose from our treatments in the centre including, Reiki, Ti Chi, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy and Yoga. 

We have a range of Tipi sizes so we can accommodate couples and groups.

(Between 2 and 6 people per Tipi)

The ideal break for  nature loving couples or young families who enjoy the great out doors.

Pets welcomed with open paws.

Arrive after 4pm on the day of arrival. Depart by 10am on day of departure
